Brian Williams Calls Lana Del Rey SNL Performance “One Of The Worst Outings In SNL History”

… I do wish the main page featured more TV coverage (Brooklyn hippster [sic] Lana Del Rey had one of the worst outings in SNL history last night — booked on the strength of her TWO SONG web EP, the least-experienced musical guest in the show’s history, for starters). In my humble opinion as a loyal customer (you know I love you but the Blog View button will be the eventual cause of my death) and while I know you’re in the midst of an editor change, weekends have been allowed to go awfully fallow — and it was a fallow holiday period for those of us who check your shit 10 times a day by iphone. I know you’ve been watching NBC Nightly News religiously each evening and I’ll no doubt be getting a withering, detailed critique from you straight away.

Top Gun

The 37th season premiere wasn’t as great as I expected to be, but this segment is hilarious. Well done Bill Hader.

A Baby’s Arm In You.

This is probably THE best bit all season.”And it won’t be Helena Bonham Carter, there’s going to be hella boning in your farter”.

Kanye West On SNL

I’ll be the first to admit that Kanye West’s performance last night on SNL was great. The whole production was spot on and he rocked the red leather better than Eddie Murphy—party all the time.

Betty White @ SNL

This is one of the better skits involving Betty White during last night’s episode of SNL. Look at that hair.

What Up My Ninjas

When I first saw this video I was really under the impression that this was an SNL Digital Short, but my first impressions were so wrong. Though, this last Saturday I was please to see that SNL knows no boundaries. Check the Hulu video below to see what I’m talking about—it’s great!

What Up With That

This is, by far, one of my favourite skits on SNL. I will continue to post each one until they run it into the ground. This skit reminds me of the early days of cable and free access channels we use to get in our city. There was a show just like this on one of those free access, which followed The Juke Box. I’m sure a few of you remember The Juke Box.

I remember the preacher would just keep singing and singing and praise the Lord. Then the choir would kick in and he would keep singing and drying off his jerry curl that would grace his face. Shit was hilarious.

This is probably one of the best skits, next to this one, that is on SNL right now. If you lived with public access channels and ‘The Box’ then you’ve probably have seen a few of these Christian shows on Public Access.

Hulu - Saturday Night Live: What up With That?

After seeing January Jones trash talk her way through a beer pong match with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night, we allowed ourselves to get our hopes up for her to take on the hosting duties of Saturday Night Live this week. In retrospect, this was quite an unfortunate mistake.

Saturday Night Live: January Jones Is No Jon Hamm — Vulture

Actually, this is probably the best skit so far this season.

This is probably one of the better skits that SNL has done so far this year.
