Judd Hertzler Art Show
Judd’s art show opened up on Friday September 2, 2011 along with Ryan De La Hoz at Bows & Arrows. This is Judd’s first art show in a few years and it’s good to have him back in the art scene. I especially love his photograph piece of the ice cream, though, someone beat me to buying it first. Early bird gets the worm or in this case the best piece in the show.
I thought I had more photos of Ryan’s work, but I will go back to take a few more photos.
T-Shirt Art Show
Last Friday I was part of an art show that was based off of Renny Pritikin’s A Prescription For A Healthy Art Scene. I was chosen to reinterpret number 10 off his list. Which states: Newspaper critics who are thoughtfu and sophisticated and talented.
The show was hosted in Sacramento, California at Bows Collective. If you are in the area please do stop by and check out the show. There are a few shirts for sale and each one is a one off design.
I plan on making my own run of shirts based off the number that I was picked and they should be available in about a month.

Montessori Art Show Benefit
This weekend was the monthly Second Saturday Art Walk here in Sacramento. It is very rare, now a days, especially in Sacramento, to actually find an amazing show.
I accidentally ran into this show, hoping that I would get coffee, but instead I walked out buying a few pieces. The show was held by the Sacramento Montessori School If buying a painting from these little buggers allows them to make more art, then I hope I did my job.
Danny’s Art Show @ Fe Gallery
Danny and Zara created an amazing tree constructed out of tape, pages from recycled books and coat hangers decorated in the most awesome way.
The show also had a blacksmith demo in the back. The show will be up for a couple of months if you want to go and check out the sculpture.
Art Show @ Bows & Arrows
So, I had an art show at my friend’s shop last night. They were celebrating their 2 year anniversary of their store. Super cool bands played that night and met up with a lot of friends that I haven’t seen in a while. Here are a few photos of the installation and paintings.
